JOB OBJECTIVES

We’re looking for an experienced operations leader to make a difference in our fast-growing company and in the communities we serve. Don Pedro Pump, an Impel Company, is imparting new energy into flow management systems, delivering expertise and world-class, sustainable solutions for critical fluid management applications. Striving to align ourselves with the top vendors, suppliers, equipment and employees , we handle all aspects of a project, including well development, pump installation, electrical coordination and installation, to help communities, farmers, and industries access clean, consistent, and safe water resources when they need it most.

Starting salary will vary depending on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year

As Operations Manager you will:

  • Lead in one of our most critical industries (water) that serves agricultural, municipal, commercial and domestic customers

  • Be responsible for the management and continuous improvement of our field and shop operations.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Manage daily operations with an expert team and top-tier equipment
  • Build and retain a high-performing team by recruiting, training, and developing employees
  • Partner with our Regional Vice President and General Manager to drive continuous improvement across the field, shop, fleet, and manufacturing departments of the business

Requirements

  • 10+ years of working in field service, shop service, manufacturing, heavy machinery, or other related industry
  • 5+ years of experience managing operations, including a plant, factory, shop, farm or other complex operation
  • 5+ years of experience developing and managing a high-performing team
  • Experience with LEAN, or similar, improvement processes
  • Adaptability; able to manage through ambiguity and adjust to changing market trends and technologies
  • Servant-lead with the ability to inspire confidence and create trust across a diverse group of people
  • Self-motivation with a high standard for integrity
  • Strong communication; including effective listening skills

Experience:

  • Operations management: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Team leadership/development: 5 years (Preferred)
